6.5 Credmoor vs 7mm-08

Which do you prefer and why, the 6.5 Creed or the 7mm-08?

I own a 308, 300 win mag, and a 257 Weatherby mag. Looking for something different. Will use this rifle in a lightweight bolt action platform. Plan on handing it down to my son for his first whitetail deer rifle. I'm not a paper puncher but do like to go out to the range and shoot long distances for fun.

My personal preference between the two is the 6.5 CM. Keep it simple, make a decision that you can live with for your particular application(s), ... it boils down to your personal preference, not ours.

As you can see, human factors will always complicate things. gun)

All very good points....

I have used start loads and worked up to max load in my rifle for years.
I watch velocity and the the usual pressure signs, and it has worked well.
Not sure what else we can do, short of pressure trace equipment..

Common sense like this is how we manage to come up with good loads without blowing up guns and otherwise damaging them.
