The 400 warlord is a 408 just opted to name it 400 because it sound cooler

What's barrel life on these. With big bores it's probably not that bad. But 200 grains of powder is a bunch.

You can't do anything about the haters. They will just come back with a new name anyway. This site has less than others and that's a good thing. I looked at the Pierce 10x action and I'm looking to see if it will fit in my 77 pound heavy gun. It cost about the same as any other br action I shoot.

Same. Accuracy is more related to the build quality, developed loads, and the shooter all things being equal they are the same. They are also the same base diameter case one is just longer than the other.

Cartridge in most cases has very little to do with accuracy in most instance. Take for example a cartridge that is recognized is having poor accuracy the 7.62 x39 and compare that to for example a cartridge that is recognized is being extremely accurate the 6 PPC. For all practical purposes those two cartridges have the same base parent however 7.62 x39 is usually shot and a piece of crap foreign product was shity bullets with no development whereas the PPC is shot in high-end equipment high-end the barrels Advanced load development in the best bullets that money can buy

The 2 barrels i have are 38" will be testing also 36" and 40" as well

Is the mercenary made with the brass that had those real thick heads on them like in the cross cuts you posted. And what do you think barrel life would be for it?

The mecenary is way thicker than any other commercial brass on the market but not as thick as the colossus

That 375 just gets the blood moving. What's it do with a 400 grain. The 350 was doing 3400 so about 3200 maybe.
