408 The way it should be

When do you expect this build to be done so we can see some results. Keep teasing folks with case pictures and no data.

The 408 Colossus just had brass made for it and build in progress

The 400 Warlord had a batch of test brass made a a few months ago, several builds done and has data accumulated

the 400 Mercenary has not been built yet, 375 Mercenary brass has been made, a number of builds done and load data established for 350 gr, 375 gr and 400 gr bullets

Oh man those look sick. That's the one I would build. Seems to be the smallest one. And I love the name. What size action on this.

the first 375 Mercenary test rifle was built on a Stiller made action with a 32.5" Rock Creek bbl around Christmas 2016 and testing was conducted with Cutting Edge bullets by myself from Jan -July 2017, from sub-zero to 75F temps in Alaska

numerous other builds were done around the US in anticipation of factory brass made outside the US, that brass was a total and absolute failure and nearly killed the cartridge, I had RCC make the new brass and we now have several builds on the Pierce 10x action similar in size to the Stiller 408 CT action,

I went through a tremendous amount of time to document every single shot on video with Magnetospeed attached to catch & record any possible failures to ignite powder in subzero conditions to average temps at 75F, no issues were observed

around that same time some disgruntled "prominent know-it-all" on this forum, accused me publicly of posting Quick Load predicted velocities even though I posted pics of chronograph readings as I normally do with all of my testing for my wildcats

So I quit posting my results as my efforts to maintain actual data was deemed false by heros on this site who think they know me

There is data on the 400 warlord the 408 and 416 colossus is being built have action barrels building chassis as we speak next will be dies every thing should be done in about 3 to 4 weeks

What weight bullet went 3403. Look at that sd. 0

352 gr MTAC, I wrote it on the case with a sharpie marker, I do that with every round I load up right off the press in order to identify case head expansion and other signs of pressure without mixing up fired cases, as for sd, that was one shot for velocity for a certain powder charge in 1/2 gr increments while working up to signs of pressure

I could have swore it was the 408 I was drooling over months ago but I could have been mistaken for the warlord

Swamplord, you are doing great. As long as you know the truth that is what is important. Please do not allow a hater to interrupt your sharing.
What about removing hater from forum:):):)

You can't do anything about the haters. They will just come back with a new name anyway. This site has less than others and that's a good thing. I looked at the Pierce 10x action and I'm looking to see if it will fit in my 77 pound heavy gun. It cost about the same as any other br action I shoot.
