4 great Hunting Cartridges

The 300 RBH and 230 Berger OTM's was this Utah bulls end. 516 yards.

I need to verify mine. 9.3 twist and 3000 FPS in 24" Broughton and H1000. Didn't get to kill anything with them this year

I know this is old so hopefully it gets to someone who can tell me, how much case prep is needed for the 338 or 375 RBH cartridges?
What is the Alaskan Hunter option? I didn't see it on the website.
TIA

338 you just load and shoot to fireform them. The fire form loads are accurate. I will use 100 brass to fire form and break in the barrel at the same time. I'm on 6 times reloading now with no brass issues
10 brass that I had used for numerous testing sessions on different loads and bullet combo's finally developed donuts after 22 times reloading.
The 375 is a bit of a different beast. I'm using 423 Dakota brass. Sizing down the neck leaving a shoulder to keep the case set in the chamber. Turning the necks to 15 thou. Fire forming. Final neck turning to 14.5 thou.
I don't think Travis is building any 375's because of the brass work issues
There's some 338's out in the field. Alaska also.

Thanks for the response RH.
That sounds like more effort than I'd like on the 375. But the 338 sounds interesting. You have a preferred load, or you still running the 260s?

Yes the 260's
I'm testing the 250 sbd-2 from badlands precision now

Also the Alaskan model was a 3 position safety that is no longer available
