338 edge max speed and pressure?

No ......this is in the canyon rifle the U-Tube gun built rifle Shawn did all the videos on while building it...With standard chamber...

300gr berger... loaded long at 3.92..... This is the 6th edge I have had with the new one getting picked up this week... with a 30 inch proof.... I think I have used reloader 33 on the last 4 and if I remember right the loads were from 101.2- 101.8 speeds from 2980-3020fps...I really like reloader 33 in the Edge... I know some even shawn states its temp sensitive and that is why he doesn't use it... But I have never found it to be a big enough problem ... I am only usually shooting out to a mile so maybe at longer distances it would come into play... and at over 7000 ft of elevation our range temp never hit high heat...

I'm getting ready to start load development on mine. It's a proof +P 30 inch. Rum Man was original owner. I know the Re33 theory on temp sensitivity, that's why I think N570 should really shine. Time wil tell.
I have some Amazing history with that Rifle ! I still think about it !
H-1000, 300 gr Berger at 2884 ft.per.sec!
Absolutely deadly on my last Elk at 1244 yards !
I'm burning g some Rl-26 in a 24" barrel 338 Rum and hitting 3000 ft.per.sec with the 250 gr berger. I just had to try out something different!

I'm still testing in mine. 300 gr Berger's and n570 over 2850 but haven't hit pressure yet. Really hoping to see over 2900 with n570 and 300 Berger's and over 3100 with 246 hammers.

Hmm ...I bet its possible for sure .
I hit 3043 ft.per.sec in the 24" 338 Rum with 250 gr bergers . It just shot better at the 3000 ft.per.sec area .
I'm going to dig up that load work info to make sure .

You rock thank you! I'm waiting on a 40 moa rail to show for mine and depending how this thing shakes out I make take with me to Montana for spring bear. I'd really like to 3100-3150 with the 246. When I rebuild this edge again I will go back to a 28 inch barrel.
