For the 210's & 215's you need nothing more than a 1-10 twist to stabilize the projectile. If you're also going to be shooting the larger & longer 230's you can't go wrong with 1-9 twist, or 1-8.5 twist or even a 1-8 twist...especially with the new 1.447" long 250grain hornady a-tips

Sweet. Gonna do 300 rum on my desert tech A2. They offer a pencil barrel but I prefer heavy barrels. I'll go with a 1/8.75 and 30"

Blackaj: I haven't shot a barrel out yet. I have one with almost 700 rounds through it and it still shoots lights out with a 230 berger. Last time I had it at 1000 it held under .5 moa vertical with 230 bergers. Throat has moved about .025 so far. 28 nosler would have been close to .070 throat erosion. I just threw my load from my heavy rifle into my light rifle that's 10 lbs w optics. 1/2" vertical at 400 yds. Same load has shot lights out in 3 barrels.

Hey Ryan whats the OAL on your .235 freebore 300 Norma Imp with the 230 Bergers. Will that function in a 3.750 Accurate Mags or the Cip 338 Laupua AI mags?
