30 nosler load data

I've had a chance to put together some loaded cases using Berger 205, cci 250, H1000 powder .030 off.
Working up from 82 grains chronoed with magnetospeed, 85 grains-3110, 85.3- 3152, then 86.2- 3173. My thoughts are going with 85.3 and working on seating. I had no pressure issues only slight swipe? I have 28 rounds through the barrel. I also have some 215 hybrid but want to break in the barrel with the 205's. I haven't had much time to go shooting. Pic from left to right shows no crater. Watched a YouTube where a comp shooter mentions going from .074?working out for seating towards the lands then settled at .062/.063 going for jump instead of starting the other way.The case's are on their 2nd loading. Did the old school routine of putting the torch to the neck for four seconds while spinning on a drill? Never have done this with any of my other magnums. Anyway for barrel breakin a 205 at around 3150 should be good for the first 80 or so and watch for speed up.

I know the 212 eldx performs good just never shot it in a 30 nosler yet lol I will let you know how it goes should start next week after September 30th.

On resizing, cases that had 84.4 grains and up to 86.2 I noticed that while resizing it did feel tight, rough on two of the cases. The primers felt like I was getting good press not loose. I'm using a Redding master hunter die set. All they had during the china express handoff. Have any experienced this? The cases are now on the third firing. I didn't hear any clicking and didn't have much torque on the bolt on the second loads? The cases are smooth no ring. I'm using ADG brass. The cases feel heavier and the metal thicker than a Nosler case.

Clarifying, the ADG cases are on their third loading not firing. When hardening occurs with these cases being beefier can it be that a die cannot resize or possible to get stuck? I've been using the Imperial wax? On my other mag cases I've always used the bottle oils? Will try that next time. How many loadings do others get on average from cases for the 30 N? On my Bees I've gotten as many as7/8 before loose pockets. What resizing dies are people using?

I had a few issues with adg brass and 28 nosler and 30 nosler. Overall I found that some dies don't do the job correctly. You need to buy the bullet central die they said it would resize more than others. I actually moved to a 300 norma improved I was heavily invested in 30 nosler still love it think its one of the best but I found die brass issues. It's fixable with that die.

Could be a tight chamber also. Had a 7saum that was the same thing. All the other 5 7 saums I shoot did not do that and they all have saami chambers with extended FB's but the one I chambered I chambered tight using a couple pieces of new ADG brass. Learned a lesson. I went back and cleaned it up with a Go Gauge and reamer. The match Redding die couldn't squeeze it back down tight enough. The reamer fixed my problem.

I know when Dallas (lane precision rifles) builds a 30 nos, he asks what brass you plan on using, as he says it makes a difference. I told him ADG, and have had no issues. On my 4th fireing, no clickers whatsoever. So, just have Dallas build your rifle lol. Or as stated, get the bullet central die.

Yes, I remember now about the Bullet Central I was trying to remember last night but I think my brain is shrinking, thanks for the help. What about the press? I'm using an old Rock Chucker since 89/90. This press has always worked for all my loads but with the ADG it had me applying leverage more so than others case calibers.

I resized some more of the fired ADG brass but used case lube instead of the imperial wax and it went fairly smooth I brushed the necks inside and did put some imperial with a cotton swab. So ready for another loading session.

Well I'm at 66 rounds down the tube. Got me a rcbs chargemaster supreme to go with my old beam scale. I started with two foul shots on a cleaned barrel left for 10 minutes settled down. Went for another dot put three literally in the same hole. Two clicks moved the last shot over about 3/4. It showed 3137 on these fired rounds. The powder machine got loads shooting anywhere 3153 to 3137 its a-lot faster throwing powder than using the beam and I think it's good enough for pigs at a distance. We will see?
This is a 30 Nosler JGS reamer .2, impact 787 action #4 Bartlein 26 inch. MvMillan game hunter not the carbon. Trigger tech Diamond at 1 1/2. With muzzle break it weighs right at 12 pounds. A good shooting box rifle. Wouldn't want to carry it across hill and dale. I placed a K525i Kahles scope on top. I'm calling it good for now. Thanks to the mentors on this site and a special thanks to Lsherm. It would benefit to pay attention to him. One more shout out to Atlas for the chamber work and to Bugholes for the spriral work. Praying my Lord and savior gives me another season to do what I look forward to each year.
