i live in the UK.
and this range is never discussed,reasons.
1 most people don't have the equipment,
2, most are happy with groups in the 4" @ 100y
3, they say y do i need a gun to shoot any better i am not shooting bees
4,they are not prepared to put the time in.
5,they say it is not hunting (people that can not do something normally slag it of.but if they took the time the could do it.)
6,most deer in the UK are shot @ 100 to 150y. (y see reason 2,)
7,if it wasn't for sits like this we would all be doing the same. i could go on and on but will not.
i have never shot any living thing further than 300y.and i did that with a factory 22.250 a few times.
i have now got 3 custom rifles (nesika)made with 400 500 & 600y shooting in mind.will they give me the ability to shot that far,(not till i have put a lot of rage time in)
will i shot that far yet,no,not until i am extremely confident in what i am doing.
IS THIS ETHICAL?????
I BELIEVE IT IS.
this i y i come on this site,to learn form people that do this every day.And they have the skill and knowledge to take 400 +y shots with great accuracy.and are willing to shear there knowledge.
