28 Nosler...which die

If you do get the Redding's and plan to shoot 195s make sure to get the extra vld stem for the seater. A forster box is a good investment too if you ever want to close the box again after setting the dies up. It's aggravating to have to buy the extra parts but they have been the most consistent dies for me.

Custom chambers. Some of the custom reamers being used are headspaced extremely tight. I think there's a few threads about it it's been a thing with forsters and some custom 28s.
I Headspace my builds tight to the go also and have had to trim the shell holder on some occasions. Not really a Forster issue there.

I like the Redding type S bushing neck die set, paired with a body die and competition shell holders. The +.006 holder is a perfect .002 bump in my chamber.

Just traded off my 28 Nosler
I got Redding bushing dies and 98 rnds of atlas brass and VLD seater stem and 313 bushing
Don't have a clue how to sale it on here

call it a shell holder issue if you want then. bottom line is reddings worked without any extra effort and forsters required something to be altered. The average reloader isn't going to start trimming dies and holders at home. I like forster products but do yourselves a favor and skip them for custom 28n's.

Whidden makes some great dies.. You can get the click dies and just bump your should back how you want it with very little work.. They produce very accurate bullets in the 28 Nosler.. Mine is throated long and I am glad I went with whidden on this one.. I have used all Redding in the past.
