.25 Souper, AKA .25-.308. 85's for rodents & yotes, 100 monos for deers. 10 twist - speedy. Easy & cheap brass, lots of shots. Effective up to 600 within my self imposed limits - seems to kill better than .243 Win.

Depending on construction and expansion characteristics that 145 should have pretty dang good penetrating power. And at your speeds, it's not running out of steam until WAY out there.

So I was comparing case capacity and the 7 PRC is very close to the 7 Mega. One could build on a LA or XM . Might be an interesting experiment to do both and see if there's anything to the idea of superior case designI would look at a 25-7PRC. Probably just a simple neck down of the 7PRC. Then you get a real screamer
