.243 Win Coyote Loads

y just shot two coyotes from 150 to 250 yds with

65gr hornady vmax 6mm rounds
39.2 gr of varget powder
#200 CCI large rifle primers
winchester 0_Fired brass
....remington 700 SA rifle

Can everyone please post pictures on how destructive the pelts were when shoot. I feel there is a corelation between the fps at impact. I have heard 2800 fps is pelt friendly when shooting the 243 winchester. Obviously larger caliber Larger hole.

I shot a cat at 350yrds with a 70g NBT. Bullet struck at 2370fps with 875lbs, there was no exit, the cat felt like it was full of jelly when I picked it up.

For comparison I shot a possum at 150 yards with the same bullet. It his at 2960 with 1300 lbs... That made a solf ball sized hole. I think that hole was the entrance hole...
