4 me, between the 221 and the 223 it's zero contest. 223 all the way!

I love the 223 for the gophers and pd fields. When I go for chucks I always go with something like a 6/06 on up. My 7 Mashburn Super being my fav

l have a Remington 700VLS in 221furball. A 22'' fluted barrel makes it a nice light 250yd gun w/40gr VMAX

l erred on this gun. lts an LVSF 700 Rem SA. 22'' barrel. Since buying the gun l had Jarrett install a Shilen trigger. Replaced the stock butt pad with a Pachmayer. These guns came from Remington with a Bell&Carlsson. Jay pillar bedded it. He also installed a single shot follower. The 40gr VMAX is the favored bullet for my Furball. l prefer R-P brass.
