22 Creedmoor fur friendly load

Hornady has recently posted load data on their website for the 22 Creedmoor.
This data is free also for the time being. Probably at least until gets published in their next manual. Just click on the PDF and you can see all of it.

I don't use a 22 creed, but my 22-250AI and .223 do excellent work on a coyote or bobcat with the 50 or 55 grain V-max or Varmint Grenades. The VG love speed and twist and you will only get a .223" entrance hole.

Hammer Bullets has 22 Creed load data for their bullets online. I have been shooting predators with 22/250 and 22/250 AI and 53gr vmax for years. Sometimes it's no exit and sometimes it's an explosion. I've been shooting 22CM a couple years on steel, going to start calling with one as well, and ditch the 22/250's.

Yup,. 50 or 53 grain, V-Maxes in, a .22-250 or, .22 Creed and Drive them,.. FAST ( above,. 3,500 FPS ) for,.. NO, "Exits" !

I'm having a hard time working up a load as well due to there being minimal load data and I'm also at 1900ft elevation. I tried the load data off Peterson Cartridge website with H4350 and my velocity was way too low with their suggested max load. So I'm gonna do 0.5gr jumps and watch for pressure signs as I chase velocity with 62gr ELD-VT and 75gr ELD-M. I will say that 22 creedmoor with never be fur friendly at less than 300 yards. Unless you shoot FMJ's and just poke holes in them. If your goal is fur friendly shoot a .223 or 22-250, way cheaper and easier on furs.

I'm shooting a Remington 700 L/H, blue printed action, custom 23" barrel with 1:8 twist.
I had the same experience with H4350. Very accurate but slow. Maybe I should remind myself that speed can be the fastest way to miss. LOL. I used a 243 AR10 with the 58gr Vmax for years and with a solid hit they would blow up inside with no exit. I'm in SD and can't use it at night though.
