2022 Meat Pole

We broke the meat pole this year. It was pretty sweet, half a dozen dads taking a pile of kids hunting. Two wall tents, great weather. God let them all draw the same youth antlerless tag, and they got them all filled. Four of them were first time hunters, and the rest hunted here last year.

Knocked this doe down with my SML last weekend. I thought she had facial injuries when looking at her through the scope (last light scenario), but they turned out to be WARTS.

Bull elk with a front shoulder removed. The "vaunted" elk shoulder was broken, the round exited the animal completely.
6.5 creedmoor 140gr eldm.
