Thats a nice piece!
Thats a nice piece!
LRI did the fluting. It does take off a lot more weight. My only regret with having it done was not doing an even heavier contour than the rem varmint I had done. I know lots of people had great experiences with them but mine wasn't very good especially considering the cost of that fluting!Yes. Who did the fluting? Does it remove more weight than normal fluting?
Took this big Tom a few days ago on my property in north Idaho.
He's been eating everything on my mountain for the past 8 weeks. I had to wait for season to start.
I recognized a pattern he developed and he became complacent. He also wasn't afraid of me or my dogs.
I was waiting for him. 110 yards with a Armalite AR-10 (T) .308, 168 gr. He still ran 50 yards with no heart or lungs.
121 pounds of killing machine. I am 5'-10", 175 pounds for reference.
Nice bull!!! This is what we saw most of.... None on the paw mind you just lots of tracks and no elk... Deer shut down as well... NW Cascade...I was lucky enough to draw a bull tag in Oregon this year and fill my Idaho tag as well. I'll probably never have a year like this again so I feel like I better at least give an effort to find a buck and round out the year.
