I have also shot a bull elk at 450 yards with a 195 Berger that had complete pass through with a half dollar exit
The question is, how do they do on horses?I have also shot a bull elk at 450 yards with a 195 Berger that had complete pass through with a half dollar exit
I am sure they would not work at all. But those thin skin maggots are tougher than most people give them credit for. They also taste like dirt. The question is, how do they do on horses?
If you make 100% perfect shots you can kill bears with blowguns. There's literally videos of a guy doing it. If a blowgun dart performance is all you expect of a Berger bullet, you're the perfect customer.

OMG! @Beluebow, LOL, I agree.Maybe you should work on your shooting skills.
Because most of the areas I hunt antelope, elk, bear, and elk, I always take a rifle setup for the largest game and furthest I am willing and able to humanly harvest.I think that it is prudent to have ELK bullets, then in another catagory for DEER bullets....just my way of thinking as I have got older and more experienced.
