140gr Berger Elite Hunter issue. Anyone experience this?

I started using 168 gr. Berger VLD's in my 7mm WSM because of the accuracy, high B.C. and price. Back then, they were available, and very reasonable. I load to a relatively low velocity of 2850. That high B.C. translates to more energy at range. I shot a javelina at 200 yards, and was worried there wouldn't be anything left. It worked just fine, through the ribs and no lost meat. If you want a pass through, just use a bullet with a higher sectional density. I've shot two bull elk at 340 yards, and neither went more than 20 feet. Deer, aoudad, antelope, javelina, elk, all die within a few feet. Hard to complain.

I used Barnes bullets for years with great success, but they weren't as accurate as the Bergers and more expensive.
