You never know, look close !

Good to see no one was hurt when that thing blew. Cold weather can\will reek havoc all things mechanical and electrical. I'm with a previous poster and always keep my muzzle covered during inclement weather and I don't expose ammo to the weather or damage by strapping it to the rifle stock. Everything involved in the controlled explosion must be clean and dry lest it becomes the opposite. However, it looks like this was a sunny but cold day and I would not have had a muzzle cover on in this weather either.

Frank……I failed to say Thank You for your post!
That should be a grim reminder of may happen, when things take a bad turn!

We should all consider taking precautions to eliminate "that" as one of the things that may happen! memtb
..that was the intent, maybe a life or certainly vision will be also saved as a result of this unfortunate accident..

Electrical tape. Camo tape. Silicone finger cots also work very well and a little quicker to use.
