Bently Wants Jerky

My grandson Bently and I have been hunting hard every morning and evening since season started Saturday a week ago. He had an opportunity at a monster buck the second morning but he breath on the scope lens and it frosted over. Bently passed on several smaller bucks then couldn't get a shot on a tall 8 pointer. I could tell he was starting to get discouraged then he said Papaw we need jerky. He shot this doe at 120 yards with his 6 1/2" Howa Mini Action 300 Blackout pistol. The Ammo Inc 110 Hornady VMax round did it's job.

He is off to a great start. We need to keep kids hunting or one of these days we will have no hunters.
I bet he will enjoy the jerky for months to come.
We are looking forward to Brat Patties this year.
