What is your go to bow?

I've always had a hard time ignoring the smooth draw cycle of hoyt. But I also shoot a prime Ct5 very well. The prime has a solid backwall with limb stops, which my hoyts do not. I think all manufacturer's fit certain shooters styles differently. First impressions are not always what they seem IMO. I don't care much for primes draw cycles as they are pretty harsh but I bought mine years ago, used, without shooting it and I found that I shoot it very well. So when hitting the center matters most, it just flat out works.

Mathews conquest 3 set at 50lbs. I keep thinking I need to upgrade but there's really no reason to. I shoot fingers no release so it's ideal. I've killed several elk with it shooting this way and with no sights.

Shot the new hoyt rx-8 and the alpha x 33. Both are incredible, but the new cam is stupid smooth. It is the first time ever that I am considering going to an 80lb limb. Any other thoughts from guys that have shot this new cam?

I have tried the alpha x33.

Try the Bowtech revolt x80 if a bow shop has one or the sx80. To compare smoothness of draw. I haven't found anything that compares to the smoothness of the Bowtech, but also has a decent brace height and long axle to axle.

Numbers 1 and 2 are my 56 pound Black Widow and my 66 pound Black Widow.
3 is my homemade longbow. Purple Heart riser with zebra wood over bamboo cores. 57 pounds on this one. Lots of hogs have fallen to these 3 and a Zwickey Eskimo broadhead

The new Hoyt RX8 Ultra is a long range dream bow. The next closest would be the RX7 Ultra. The RX8 Ultra is what my 15 year old bought. I figured there wouldn't be any difference between it and my RX7 Ultra, but it was a shade better in about every category.
When I say long range he was testing his tune at 90 yards. He had a field point, a QAD Exodus, a Deadmeat V2, and a deadmeat BMP which is a fake practice broad head. He put 12 consecutive shots in a 6" hexagon at 90 yards. "Dad, I think I have it tuned."
