Great looking speed goat. That is my favorite animal to hunt. I did not draw a tag this year. I was going to pick up a leftover tag, but glad that I did not, as the area burned. Congratulations. That sled looks like a great idea. My back doesn't take a heavy load in a backpack these days.

In what area was your tag? Wife and I had Area 68 tags for the Lander One Shot. We had 2 fat goats at the processor by 11:00 am opening day. It was a spectacular day of hunting. We were mostly between Split Rock and Jefferson City. Game everywhere. Saw over 500 Mule Deer - at least. Never ever have I seen so many mulies - all does. Saw lots of 75-100 head Antelope herds - almost all does. Only saw 3 bucks in total. Passed on the first and took the last two. They were fat and prime. Biggest bodied that we've ever taken in our 29 years of The One Shot. It was just an awesome day in the field.

Beautiful Buck. My daughter drew her first speed goat tag this year. Opens up Oct. 5 in our area. Can't wait to get her on them.
