@Taylorbok - thank you for finding it for me. It's appreciated. I should have used Google instead of the built in engine. Went back 2 yrs searching "hnt26 & hnt 26" and did not find that in the first 6-7 pages of links.
Epoxy failing or more likely is it was not applied at all during assembly. I have seen those kind of manf line assembly mistakes. It's why I wanted to read the details as as it was stated I envisioned it actually breaking not a assembly defect.
But I am gifted in the area of unintended breakage. I bet I could fall just right with that and land across a boulder and snap it. But then I could do that to any of these cf folder stocks.
One thing the XLR has I wish the HNT had. It has a model that can use the flat bottom Bat Vampire action. Benefit of not using a v block system. That is my top pick for a light weight hunting action. So slick running and according to the spec very strong . But the Vesper is excellent too. Still the Vampire would be my first choice for this type of build.
