Loads of people scarfed it up earlier this year from places like Scheels. Delivered to your door for a pretty normal price as I recall. Seems as though there are new guns trickling out with this chamber, so not to fear. Be patient and grab what you need when it comes back in stock.

Heads Up - Scheels has 25gr 17 WSM ammo on stock
Ordered last week and it is said to be delivered today. So many rumors of this round being dead and ammo never to be found again. This was a relief to me! Reasonably priced and reasonable shipping.
I got a couple cases off gun broker a little while back. Look for the auctions ending in the middle of the night and early morning like pre 5am. I watched a few sell for close to 300 during normal hours and scored both of mine for under 200. Not saying it's a bargain but I'd like to continue shooting mine and that's what was available at the time.

There needs to be more factory guns on the shelves .
I picked up a couple cases off gunbroker pre-covid for around $65-80, I wish I would have bought a pallet at those prices. The case I got this winter was around $220 to the door. Ruger also finally made a run of rifles after about 5 years of waiting. I got the 20 inch blued barrel with the wood stock.
Last ones I bought was 12.99 for Winchester and stocked up with a lot, but that was a few years ago

Am paying $18 per box at my pal's small gun shop.
This being normal behind the times Iowa, there only two of us buying .17 WSM ammo there. It's all 20gr but it shoots good in our rifles.
