Our children think their parents are stupid until they get out on their own compared to there teacher so we must pay attention to what they think and give them real world examples. I recently had a conversation with one of my granddaughters that Is liberal and though that free stuff was the responsibility of our government. So i ask her, where do you think the money comes from. when I told her of the backs of the middle class and when she gets her check and sees how much is being taken out all ready with more to come with every give away program, the light came on and she was astounded.

So those that are raising kids need to pay close attention to there teachings. It is also amazing how little history they know.
Don't get me started

J E CUSTOM

Feel free to get started! It's worth saying. I'm 27 years old and find myself feeling out of place in the midst of a generation of people that take their lives and rights for granted, that acts shortchanged when good things don't just fall into their lap, hasn't had to fight for much and wouldn't fight for much, and has no appreciation or even awareness of how bad things are in so many places of the world and what it took for us to be so much better off. Again, I'm Canadian and I know there's big differences between our countries but we've got so much in common and it seems we're both in real danger of losing ourselves. I've long admired American patriotism. In my experience there's nothing like it in my own country, I hear there used to be a lot more, before my time. I suspect it's largely because in the name of tolerance and multiculturalism we struggle to unify under any common identity. I hope you guys can hang on to yours.

Well said young man!

I don't know if Russia is behind the US's ideological shift to the left but if you watch this 35 year old video from former KGB officer Yuri Bezmenov, it will lay out exactly what has and is happening currently in the United States.

I couldn't even count how many people I've shown this video to. But I can count on one hand the amount of people who even cared to watch it. Our Republic is FULL of lazy, fat, entitled, privileged, selfish, narcissistic, zombies who have never had to be selfless in their lives. Two generations of "americans" have done nothing to serve others. 19 years of combat and 2% volunteer to serve? Far to many are too stupid to see the lake for the water in it. Let alone fight for the selfish lives they lead. What this country needs is a year long power outage. It would solve quite a bit.

Or better yet: A mandatory 2 year tour of duty for every person starting at the age of 18! No exceptions!

Not lately.. you are right....but Boise vs LA? San Fran? Lol
I don't even want to know what that is like. Not much down there interest me. Got to see Disneyland when I was a kid, wasn't to impressed and had no desire to go back.

I am 29 and I totally understand your feeling.
I recently had a annual safety refresher at my place of employment. Most of the old heads here are 50+, so I am a minority. I overheard them discussing work ethic and how the millennial generation is made up of a bunch of lazy sociopaths. I asked them "what about me?" and their response was-
"aren't you like 40?" I am not sure whether to feel upset that I look so old or complimented on my demeanor, but apparently this square peg bounced right off the circular slot.

Now, if we could just have about another 96,000,000 millennials just like you, we could probably turn back this virus that is sickening our nation. Any insight on how to pull that off ?
I'm thankful for your " old soul ". We need like minded millennials to continue the fight when us older folks fade into history.

All I can say is that there is a difference between using technology to augment our intake of information, and using technology to substitute the human experience. I think that is the defining attribute to the millennial divide. We are either in the matrix, or we aren't.
The ones that are plugged in are posting on facebook for likes and shares- and that will be the extent of their social interaction (which is one of a false ubiquity) The only reality they know is through a screen. The millennials who aren't plugged into the matrix are using this technological interface to learn about things like the fall of Rome, the American revolution, the science and nature of mankind as it relates to the world we live in-
I live by this philosophy here:

"I must study politics and war that my sons may have liberty to study mathematics and philosophy. My sons ought to study mathematics and philosophy, geography, natural history, naval architecture, navigation, commerce, and agriculture, in order to give their children a right to study painting, poetry, music, architecture, statuary, tapestry, and porcelain".
John Adams

But we need to be able to know what the truth is and what the propaganda is . What the millennials are being taught is being taught as the truth to them and the reality is that to them it is the truth and what we see as the truth is to them false hoods !

what we see as the truth is to them false hoods !

That part, is the bane of humanity as a species my friend. There are objective truths, and then there are personal subjective truths. It is all in the eye of the beholder. hopefully the person in question has the ability to discern truth from fiction. (in this day and age, the identitarian political propaganda is obvious)

Look, its clearly apparent who knows the truth and who doesn't. Just look at this picture as a reminder. The only real people are the ones not living in a crime riddled liberal utopia.

I respectfully disagree. It's hard enough to push boots theses days when they are volunteers. Millennials, and Gen Z are nearly worthless as it is. When they volunteer at least they want to be there, for a while. But force them in, and it all goes to hell in rebellion and tantrums. I support your objective. I just don't think loading up our military with conscripts is going to make us stronger. The feminists, tranny's and homosexuals have already turned our military into a circus of landmines to navigate. We don't need sniveling, incompetent, moms basement dwelling, never been spanked, given a trophy just for showing up, brats, ruining it any further.
