I have a few hot rods, but this one seems to get more attention than the others.

Very nice ! I love me a 68 Camaro, and I happen to own one too. I built the 68 before I started on the 72. It was built as a street strip car. Small block 406, old school solid flat tappet cam, cast iron protopline heads, 11.4 to 1 comp, ran great on pump gas. Never got it to launch well, but still managed to run low 11s at 120, 60ft in the 1.9s . Its been outside in the weather for a few years and needs fresh paint , fluids changed out etc. I'm gonna sell it , but I need to freshen it up a little first. It's in pretty sad shape right now. I dont have the space or back to keep 2 toys up and the 72 does everything well, where the 68 is for straight lines only.I have a few hot rods, but this one seems to get more attention than the others.

I did the same with my 72 Camaro. I had it running great with a mild LS3 . 11.5 sec quarter mile, theoretical 150ish top speed (third gear in the 2004r), 20+mpg, ac, ps, pb, etc......then I took it to the 2.0 version, dropped compression , 80mm turbo, homemade triangulated 4 link, coil overs on all 4s. Havent taken it to the track yet, but added about 250 rwhp and increased the suspension tunability alot. Had to take the ac off to do the turbo. I will probably live to regret that, lol. It's a '78. I would love me a '73 455SD. It was built as a multi purpose ride. 155mph, 13sec 1/4's, handles, cruise control and 20hwympg.
I bet that thing will make you say your prayers ! Twins on an LS in a go cart!My buddy was able to turn his hobby into a full time job building cars from the ground up. This is one of the creations.

Must include photos!!!I always have something to play with in the garage. My toy right now is a 72 Camaro with big brakes, homemade triangulated 4 link, coil overs all around, 4 spd overdrive trans, LS3 engine with an 80mm turbo , EFI, etc.....built it myself from a stripped shell . I even did my first stitch job on the interior . Got a sewing machine last Christmas and jumped right in there, lol. Someone hit the passenger side door with something and knocked off a big chunk of my garage done paint job, so I flat blacked the whole car till I can get around to painting it again. Fun stuff !
