Looking for some input on the two

Looking at a lightweight rig, but hearing the Magnus stock adds 12-16 ozs on the same barreled action.

So why get the Magnus stock over let's say the Clymer stock? I have a Clymer stock and love it… so I'm trying to be convinced that a Magnus stock is worth the weight penalty.

Thanks

I really like both of the Clymer and Magnus stocks but "lightweight" for what they are, they are not as light as they should be. I don't think they were designed with that being the end goal.

They both have chassis in them if they could cut those out it would save a little weight.

I have an adjustable magnus here and it weighs 3.4 pounds vs. a fully painted and bedded manners LRH at 2.4 pounds

I have a SA clymr that weighs 27.25oz. It's the new style build. That's with aluminum chassis. 14" lop
