I am quite certain nobody hunts in the enclave. The property is surrounded with equally large lots in the 30 to 50 acres lots Most now have multi level multi $M mansions that sprung the last decade.

Are you restricted to bows and shotgun only? One of my brother in laws owns property similar to your description. No high powered rifles allowed for hunting.

No restrictions, I hunt with rifles from 240 to the clearing. Probably it won't take long before put restriction. The place is 67 acres

I am in eastern shore Maryland. Our deer look alot different then southern deer. That one dressed 210. Figured he was 3.5 years old. I am enjoying to responses. On aging warm climate deer.

I would say he's at least 4 1/2 judging from his nose. Has the hump that they start acquiring around that age. Body size, girth can be tougher to judge in crop areas I could imagine though.

Could be. The year before he was a 5 had the forks on both sides with a kicker on the right like now. Was much smaller mass then. About half that mass. Wanted to get him out of population the year before.

Here is a pic of a 5 1/2 year old Hill Country deer from the Pontotoc area I took last year. Kind of blurry but hope this will give you something to judge your deer against.

2.5 or 3.5 I am not a good judge but the next size and body says young deer to me.
