My hunting and fishing rig since 1996. Still in excellent shape with original factory paint. Bone stock except for Bilstien shocks and the 10,000 lb Warn Winch. Nephew now has it. Guys are getting older so went with a four door as the replacement.

The replacement truck. Bone stock with Offroad package. Only changes are the Duratrac tires, Canopy and a 17,500 pound winch. Got tired of having to use snatch blocks on the smaller winches.

This rides in the box, under the canopy. When the going gets tough, unload this miniature 4x4 with it's own winch and go places no full size 4x4 ever thought of getting to.

I think you can tell I like red with black accents. 😁

Some of you guys are crazy! I hate getting stuck, so I try to avoid those kinds of roads. Most of NM is rocky, so it isn't an issue unless it snows. I hunt down south, so we don't get much snow. I have a Superduty F-250 with a 4" lift, but most hunts my baby Bronco works just fine. I'm not a road hunter, so all I have to do is make it to camp. My Bronco Sport Badlands says it can ford up to 23.5" deep, and has locking rear differential, and special shift points for mud, snow, and sand. The only real issue is clearance, 8.8" isn't enough. A small lift and bigger tires will fix that. I have an off-road trailer that is big enough for my 12'x14' wall tent and wood stove. The only way to camp in cold weather. I'd add a picture, but my Mac is acting up. Did I mention that it gets 32 mpg at 60 mph? Even pulling the trailer, I got 25 mpg.

Just a few of my hunting rigs
96 t100 lockers front and rear marlin crawl box sitting on 35s
The horses are locked front and rear full time and a lowly 1 horsepower per ride
Artic cat m8 turbo for the snow days

Looks like Jeff's Ledges off Green Mamba.

Used to run those trails too. Heres my 1 ton 4runner on the entrance to Black Sheep after the gate keeper.
Yessir! Used to regularly go to the Memorial Day Roundup and a couple other times a year, between Clayton and Hot Springs. The Jeep was a casualty of a divorce, but lots of awesome memories.

Yours is much cleaner than mine. 3" lift with 31's? My paint is peeling so it's become a tool. Much like it's owner lol.
4" and 31's, and a 5 speed manual. Will be upgrading it to a 4.5" long arm, regearing and running 33x10.5/11.5's eventually. With the ratios, a similar year xj set of axles from an auto transmission will be 3:55, and perfect for 33's in a manual. The 5 speeds have 3:07 axles stock
