Your Toyota makes me miss my first one!
Thanks! Its a Go Fast Campers platform topper.Nice rig! What cap/shell is that?
It's a 16 with the 6.0 , I wish it had a Duromax , but then again I hate the smell of diesel , so maybe not . It's a little beat up , 143, 000 , but it is a nice truck , IMO.'15 or '16? IMHO, one of the best and most beautiful Chevy's ever made. Just traded my 15 Chevy for a 21 GMC and kinda regret it. Little more power/torque, but that 15 Chevy was the most solid feeling truck I've ever driven. It was a '15 High Country Duramax short bed and when I bought it I drove it 1700 miles home in one day with one finger towing a trailer and only had to stop 3 times for fuel. I put another 160k miles on it and loved every one of them.
That was my first street legal truck.loved my 300-6 F250
Liking that squarebody!!Just depends on if the snow is deep or deep deep!
Square body 3/4 ton with built 383, 4speed, 4" lift, locked front and rear and 35s. If it gets super deep lose the chains and drop the tires down to 6lbs and crawl.
That is one beautiful truck!!!Liking that squarebody!!
Bought this 1985 last year, looking forward to fun times.

This is my rig.
With the back seat always folded down…
It stays loaded with coyote, dove, deer hunting gear along with my long range shooting gear.
Kinda messy but it's all there.
Pretty high water!!! My 97 Tahoe needs an ac charge too. I'll do that myself next week. It's our comfortable fishing rig. My XJ and Tahoe are both mess inside but well loved. Both have the rear seats down and a ton of gear stays in them.Don't have many pics of my war wagon. Here's what I could find. View attachment 462338View attachment 462339
Old 4wd Tahoe. Over a qtr million miles on it now. It's been from the east coast to the Rockies and everywhere in between. Now days, I limit it to 30 mile trips. But it still sees the woods several times every week.
Recently, had to do a few repairs. Told my mechanic buddy to figure out why the ac wouldn't blow good.
He removed a gallon coffee can full of spent 22lr and 223 brass from debunk the dash.
Mines a 97 as well. Some of the toughest ever made.Pretty high water!!! My 97 Tahoe needs an ac charge too. I'll do that myself next week. It's our comfortable fishing rig. A mess inside but well loved.
I had a 83 and 84 straight axle short bed yotas. I still have a complete rebuild kit for them with pistons and an rv cam if anyone is interested.View attachment 462316
