I have a general MT elk license, as well as a B tag for a cow. I did cash in 25 points in Utah and drew a limited entry early archery hunt on the Beaver unit.

I got my Utah cwmu tag. 20 years of putting in. Not the hunt I wanted but my age and body won't do the really good hunts.

I did hire a guide. Took me 22 years to draw it so I figured the extra help would be worth it.

I was able to fill my tag last week with the help of a great group of guys. Took this bull at 65 yds. Good luck everyone!!

New Mexico was a bunch of fun. This Bull came to water and offered a 35 yard broadside shot and I was fortunate enough to see him tip over after a 90 yard run. They weren't talking at all. I hate to sit water, but it's about the only option I had. It worked.

Wanted to start a thread for those lucky enough to draw a 2023 Elk tag.

I am not sure how but Drew a AZ Rifle, Late Elk tag for unit 27. Pretty stoked on it

I didn't get drawn but my 12 year old son got drawn for Cow in Unit 10 (first ever hunt). So I'm trying to work up a load for him right now.
