I figured I'd post a photo from this past weekend's adventure with my oldest boy. He and I went out on our first of what I hope will be a couple of deer hunts this fall.

The last photo (bottom right) was from this weekend. I thought it'd be cool to show the age progression with this young man in particular, as he has been accompanying me in the field for almost 2 decades now.

The first photo (top left) was of him receiving his first rifle at 4 years old - Christmas morning. The next few shots just capture a very small portion of his outdoor time on his way to this weekend's hunt.

I am blessed beyond measure.

Glad to have another member here. We've stuck out so far, but we have plenty more seasoned in Mississippi. My son has big plans for next week while he's out of school!

My lil buddy on his very first blood trail!!! He made it 150 yards before he asked for dad, I was so proud watching him pick apart the tracks and leaves for blood. Lil brother just had to come join for the drag.

Deer season just started here in Texas and my little hunting buddy is chomping at the bit. Hope to have something to report back soon.
