My buck from last November. Not the greatest, but it's eating good....

6mm284, not even 200 yards.

100_3231.jpg

Got a buck and doe antelope with the 6.5-284, but did not take any photos.

Here's a few I've collected over the past couple of years. The marmot was taken in 2010 at 749 yards with a Cooper in .270. The PD was taken the end of November, 2011 at 683 yards with a Cooper in 22-250. I have a custom LR rifle coming in 7 Rem mag throated for 180 gr Bergers intended to push the varmint shooting to 1000, and hopefully 1200 yards this season.

2011 SD Mule Deer. Had to go back and get the correct range due to the fact I could not get a correct range on him at the time. Kept ranging the grass about 75 yds in front of him due to the angle. Ended up being almost exactly 850 yds. Wanted to break 1000 this year but just could not pass on this one.
Rem 700 Sendero in .264 Win Mag. 142 Gr SMK bullet.

Good shooting Bill. I'll take that same 7 mag for elk, and hopefully I'll draw my early season buck tag and a sheep tag. That would be a great way to get started with a new rifle.

5 X 7 Black Tail taken in Northern California. Pretty stoked on it. Took it with an -06 at 70 yrds. I had just finished glassing a 500 yrd bowl at a mountain saddle I like to hunt. It was getting later in the morning and I was on my way to another spot when it Jumped out of the bush at me with a target on its shoulder... lol. Decent for a black tail, thats for sure. Just thought I would share with you guys :)

thats a nice **** deer for this area! B zone? ill have to get a pic of mine from last year. not very impressive compaired to yours

First picture post for me,
This pesky tree rat was making a mess out of my garage and would never come out if I was around finally got him in a tree around back. 25 yards with Marlin 22IMG_20120410_104028.jpg

yeah, I was pretty stoked on it. We took 2 that day, def in B zone for sure. It was worth it. You from my area?

ya im in redding. i hunt in shingletown for my c zone tag and the mendicino national forest usually for b zone, but am doin a pack trip into the yolla bolly's for a week this year.

bradys turkey.jpg my ten year olds first turkey shot at 363 yds with a 223 and 40 grain vmax. Got him on his first shot. A couple of weeks of practice in prairie dog town is paying off. THE TRUSTY 788 AND THE NEW G7 BR2 WORKED PERFECTLY.

This is the last Hog I killed here in Cali, and the last deer I killed. The deer is no where near as impressive as Stokely007's buck but I was pretty happy with him considering only one trip out for deer season...
