Fellas the post was about the price of deer feed, gas was just a reference, solar and wind generated power has nothing to do with the post. I appreciate your passion for your different points of view and applaud both of you for sticking to your guns but this pops up on my computer every five minutes and I am hoping somebody has something constructive to say about the price of deer feed or something to do with hunting deer. Its a long range hunting forum not a power generation forum.

You can't talk about the price of anything these days and not expect politics to come into the equation and then all bets are off as to which direction it goes. They used to not let us talk about non 2nd amendment politics and I loved it that way. In the last 6 months or so that has changed. I cannot read some of this stuff and not comment which is why I really wish they would go back to that policy. I think we would all rather not know what we don't agree on politically and keep this to a strictly hunting, shooting, and outdoor forum.

That being said, I have not bought deer feed in over a year because cwd was discovered in my county and they made it illegal to put out food for deer in cwd counties in TN. I have noticed that the price has increased at the local tractor supply. I never put out deer corn. I always just put out feed corn because its cheaper. Deer corn is a rip off. Of course, I imagine you can save quite a bit getting it from your local co-op but unfortunately for me they closed my local co-op and I have to drive to the next county over so with the price of gas its just cheaper to buy it locally at the higher price.

I am the dense one? You are the one that keeps referring to it as the plandemic. The level of ignorance behind that statement is mind boggling. There was a study done that red counties that went 60% for Trump were 2.75 times more likely to die from covid than counties that went for Biden. The higher the percentage went up, the higher the likelihood increased. If this was some diabolical plot by the liberals, they were freakin evil geniuses. If it was, I would expect more to come and there would be no way that I would not be getting whatever vaccine they put out. The administration said they were going to try and end the use of fossil fuels in 50 years which is way faster than it can be done but they are politicians and have a tendency to over exaggerate. Obviously, the public does not have issue with that because they voted for him and its not unreasonable to think that the US could be carbon free within 100 years. More and more countries are doing it. China is the largest investor in renewables in the world but the universe revolves around you so that could not possibly affect oil companies investing. It has to be all Biden because it certainly could not be the writing on the wall. Also, everyone in the industry said they were recovering from the massive losses during the pandemic. If they are waiting until Biden is out of office to invest, they won't be able to bring down the prices before the next election and people will start blaming the republicans. The american public has no long term memory. There is nothing to untangle. The xl pipeline is dead and the republicans won't be able to bring it back to life. It wasn't going to make a difference anyhow other than to use up our refining capacity which in the current state of our refineries would have driven gas prices up. The only real thing they can do is get the refineries going again but many have been shut down and will never be brought back to life while others have been converted which means they will have to build new ones which take years so you can expect the blame to be transferred from Biden to whoever the next president is. Its inevitable.

Without getting political, let's not put Brandon up too high on a pedestal. He's ruined this country in less than two years. The previous guy, you know, the one that made America better again. Not sure about you but I was way better off two years ago than I am today. Yep, that you can blame Brandon for. BTW, the only reason he's in the Big house today is because the entire media suppressed the truths about the Big guy and his little boy. That's called a Rigged election. Yep, Rigged. I said it. They are the ones that we can all thank for the worst economy ever. The media. Getting back to highest gas prices EVER, we can thank Joe for that Numbf_ _ _ k move also. It won't take 4 years to bring us back when the republicans run everything. Couple years Max and they'll really make the difference. Trust me, after this 4 years is over, Democrats may as well move to China. That's where most of them belong anyway.

I am not sure. The historical reduction in oil production took place during the previous administration.

So you are saying that after the historical reduction of oil production under Trump, the economy started recovering and oil companies could not ramp up fast enough to be a net exporter and they still can't produce enough today.

Those were red counties that reported it. It was strictly medicare patients, no one else. If you get covid and develop pneumonia and die of it, covid was the cause of death. I know several people who caught covid and ended up in the hospital with pneumonia. They were relatively young and healthy and not on medicare. If you have a heart condition and the stress from having covid causes you to have a heart attack, covid killed you. If you have a pre-existing condition and you get covid and the stress of covid causes your pre-existing condition to worsen and kill you, covid killed you. Basically, if you would have lived longer if you had not gotten covid, covid killed you regardless of what the the pre-existing condition was.

Covid damages the respiratory system, circulatory system, and the nervous system. If you ever had covid, you now have a pre-existing condition. I have worked in the business IT side of healthcare for 30 years. If you had covid and develop lung issues in 10 years and there aren't pre-existing condition protections, insurance companies won't hesitate to deny your claim.

I must have worded wrong. We were a net importer of oil before Trump. We were a net exporter of oil under Trump. We once again became a net importer of oil under Biden. Federal policy makes a diff.
