Why shoot a sissy rifle?

As kids we used to play "war". Fake guns or sticks. Bang got you, no you didn't missed me etc. Got sick of the cheating so decided to play for real with BB guns. Went ok except for a fight at the end which resulted in a close range bb in the back of the neck. Which then lead to a kid going through a window at the bus stop. Which then lead to the bus stop moving to a windowless car wash and no more BB gun wars. I don't recommend any of it. It's amazing the stupidity myself and friends have survived. Not everyone has the opportunity to grow out of it. I appreciate that we did.

Ahhh. Good times we all had. My friends and I did similar things.
We'd set up an "American Gladiators" (remember that show?) style obstacle course in the back yard with pallets, plywood, and the like. We'd then shoot at the runner with BB guns from the second story windows... until one guy got one in the eye. He lived.
If we had been using the 6.5 CM instead, we'd probably still be playing because there wouldn't be any danger of anyone getting seriously hurt. That round didn't exist back then, so that's probably why.

I use that same combo out of a 260 but with 45.3 grs of Superformance
I didn't work a lot on loads for 6.5 creed but Superformance, H4350 and H 100v had good accuracy. Superformance and Hybrid 100V highest velocity. I never tried slower burners like H1000, Retumbo, n560, n565, n570, etc. I should of tried RL26 and RL23 which both work great in 6.5 PRC and 6.5x284. but moved on with 6.5 creed.

Had a Sako S20 need more that shot tiny tiny with 120 eldm and superformance. I use h4350 in my current creedmoors
I had good luck with H4350 with 140 Bergers and 143 ELDX but the load I listed was best and stuck with it. I've only use 6.5 Creed on 3 whitetail does and 1 lope doe. They were 443 yds, 412 yds, 75 yds. on Wt and 212 yds on lope doe. All went nowhere.

I think in some parts of the country, accessibility was pretty good! memtb
My dad always had dynamite when I was a kid. He'd use it to crack big stumps, said they'd rot out faster cracked.

When I was young my brother (5 years older than me) had a Daisy BB gun that he'd shoot me with, he always kept it hid. One day he'd been chasing me with it and I got away and hid from him. Without me in sight he leaned it up against a big wild cherry tree in our yard and went into the house. When the door closed behind him I made a mad dash for the BB gun. He came out just in time to see me finish baseball batting it on the tree. I broke and ran to keep from getting my butt kicked. The barrel did have a nice curve in it after my handiwork.

Years later we were having a few beers and reliving old times. I told him, it's a good thing I didn't grow up a great big mean sob, he asked why. My reply was, because I would've beat you to death years ago for some of the crap you did to me. LOL
