Why shoot a sissy rifle?

I have a few 6.5 Creedmoors plus 2 6.5 PRC, 3-308's, and 300PRC custom builds. The 6.5 Creedmoor with a 140 Berger at 2960FPS with RL26 is pretty hard to beat for overall performance and recoil. It's just a balanced round with a lot of support. Not quite as much as 308 but it's getting closer.

The muzzle brake may be a bit overkill but let's not judge!

That's some amazing FPS with 140's!

That's right, I birddog 68 shoot a sissy rifle. Not just any sissy rifle but a 6.5 creedmoor, the queen of sissies.
Some are afraid to mention that they shoot a skinny jeans man bun latte drinking rifle for fear that they will be ridiculed by their former friends. Not I.
I was looking for a rifle that would basically be a range rifle and was a little easier on my torn rotator cuff but wanted a bit more power than my 223 Remington. I wanted readily available brass and bullets and something that I wouldn't have to buy any powder that wasn't on my shelf already. The 6.5 CM checked all the boxes.
I ended up buying a Browning Xbolt western hunter last spring with a 24" barrel and yea it's even got a brake on it!
It's actually been boring working up loads for since it's shot everything good that I have tried so far.
I'm shooting 140 ELDM and 140 ballistic tip and have used IMR 4350, Ramshot hunter,W760 and staball 6.5 and it doesn't care what I fill the case with. It just shoots!
I'd like to hear what brought others to buy such a sissy rifle ?
Don't worry your replies will be confidential. 🤣
I finally gave in and got a 6.5CM Weatherby vanguard. Like you everything I put through it shoots lights out. Plenty of brass and bullets available. Brass comes in LRP and SRP. I loaded some of each and both shot cloverleafs side by side with no scope adjustments. Go figure. Shot 3 white tails this season, one shot each at ranges from 90yds to 310yds. All dropped in their tracks. I'm sold on em, why mess with success.

I remember when Hornaday released the 6.5 Creedmoor. There wasn't a large amount of hype around it - most people thought it was a well designed cartridge and the modern equivalent to the 6.5x55.

It gained some fame as a long range match cartridge, which it is good for. Where things took a turn is when people started touting it as a 1000 yard killer of all creatures, which it isn't and wasn't really designed to be.

I think it is a good cartridge and I personally wouldn't hesitate to use it on antelope or mule deer out to 500 yards or so. Since I have better choices, I wouldn't use it on elk, but if I did I would certainly keep the shot inside 300 yards.

I don't own one (I'd tell you if I did), but it is a well designed cartridge for its intended purpose.

Count me in the club. I really enjoy shooting it even if I do so only mid-week when the range is empty to avoid being seen with it in public. Shoots everything I've tried (Hammer 80HHT, 85HH, 123AH, Berger 130 OTM and 156 EOL) under 1/2 moa except H4350 and 140 ELDM/143 ELDX. I swear I'm the only person on earth who cannot get that combination to shoot accurately. I shot every combination in 0.1 grain increments from 38.0 to 43.5 and could not get better than .8 moa.
