Who shoots 140gr bullets out of a 280 Ackley?

I've heard great testimonies about Hammer Bullets. Will try next fall. I have a 1:9 twist in my Ackley and it loves 140's. I have another 280 Ackley in a 1:8 twist that I will set up for heavier Bullets. I shoot a 7-08 also that loves 140 AB's

I shoot 140 accubonds with H4831sc at 3200 FPS. My barrel is fast, I can shoot 175 Berger's at 3000
WOW! that's interesting! My friend has a 280AI he's working up loads for. He has a 27" Schneider P5, 9.0T barrel. Would you share any load data? That would be a big help.

I have the old tried and true .280, 24" barrel, medium taper in the Encore and have been shooting it since the Encore came out. I had and still have an old Remington 7MM Express (280) and I have always shot 140 or 150 grn bullets from them. My Encore I use if I have to use a rifle is shooting the 140 Accubonds with Varget. I have taken several deer and two Elk with the 140 grn Accubond. With the rifle I get 2950 fps. The twist on the factory Encore is 1-9. One bull elk was at 405 yards in 20° weather with some snow.
I have the .280 in the Encore Pistol also and shoot the same load. It is running 2830 fps. I also have the .284 in the Encore pistol, 15" and a XP100 Custom in .284, 15" barrel and shoot the 140grn Accubonds. I'm glad I bought up over 500 of them early in 2020.

I'm running 140 Nosler Accubond on top of RL22 at 3275 FPS out of 24" 1-9 twist Oregunsmithing cut rifle barrel. Holds .5 moa accuracy. Have used the 140 Nosler or Barnes for everything here in Eastern Oregon. One well placed shot and done.

I don't have chrono data yet ... new Kimber Montana 1:9 24". Broke in with Nosler Custom ammo 140AB. Excellent results this fall on whitetail and medium-sized boar feral hog.

First light load using 140TSX performed about as well as the 140AB. I want to try the 133gr Hammer Hunter next.

Impressive speed with that accuracy. Is charge near capacity? Thanks
