Whats your favorite long range rifle ?

For now? (Bergara) darn sure does Not like my spelling! HMR-PRO, IN 300 WM. 26" pipe. Muller Tank Brake. And an "old" 1990's Luppy 4.5x14x50 on Top. Little holes out longer than I should shoot. Last Elk +/- 800 yds somewhere about 8500' high 38* no wind! One shot, one Kill!

I was wondering what is everyone's long range rifle .My favorite long range rifle is the 338-378 weatherby accumark .I used two of them in Alaska 12 years .Its a pretty light rifle for how big it is but easy to tote .I had Nikon 6.5x20 scopes on one and 5.5x16 Nikon on the other one .
Another fan of Weatherby. I too am extremely fond of my Weatherby Mark V Deluxe .340. Like you, it is a light rifle, but with the accumark brake, which I think is the best on the market, it tames this beast down. I like the .340 because it is a 338 caliber with the power of the .378 cartridge. I have a Weaver T35 scope on mine. 1000 yds. means nothing to this rifle. I also have a Ruger Hawkeye African .375 with a brake, but this thing kicks like a Mo. mule. A few weeks back I fired 10 rounds in it and truthfully didn't want to pull the trigger the 11th time. It weighs about the same as my .340 but a lot more kick.

I would have to say it is my Remington 700 .308 Winchester, bull barrel, Jared trigger with the Super Sniper 16x scope my son built for me in Alaska. It is blueprinted and beded in a target stock. It will put 3 rounds of Black Hills 168 grain hollowpoint touching at 500 meters if I do my part. A bit too heavy to carry long distances though. ;)

My old Rem 700 VS from the mid 90's. Tuned and trued, switch BBL rig. 2 different 8 twist 6-47L's and one 12 twist 6 MM Dasher. Added a couple pounds of led into the stock. My "daily driver"!!;) I have put more smiles on the faces of more newbies with this gun then......well......., you know!!

McMillan Yukon 1-8 twist 7mm RUM 27 inch barrel w vias brake, sends a 195 Berger @ 3100. Truly half Moa shooter. Right at 10lbs, not a lightweight but manageable. That 5-25 NF ATACR is no fun to pack around, until you settle in behind it for a long shot then your glad you carried that heavy *** thing. My only real long range hunting gun I own and love it.

7 mag. I had Quarter Minute Magnums build a rifle: BAT action, 28" Kreiger barrel, Jewell trigger, S&B scope. .308 tight neck, shot 180 Berger's 2990 FPS. Weighed 14 lbs. Marmots at 1400+ yds, elk at 1098. Got tired of packing it so I sold it. Currently my fast twist 22-250 Cooper. Prairie dogs past 1100 yds.

I want to try new bullets in my 260 rem ,264 win mag ,338 win mag and 338-378 weatherby .I am also trying a new scope too Nikon 1000 6x24x50 mrad scopes on two of my guns .I have to get a better range finder too .I think if I can shoot well out to 700 yards I will be happy .I know my rifles are accurate I just need to change bullets and scopes to shoot further than I usually have .I don't want to pass up shots on awesome bucks 300to 700 yards any more !
