What should I build in 270 cal ?

Matrix is but from what i can find on them it looks like they only make pistol bullets now and might not be making rifle bullets any more. I did order some Chinchaga bullets to try .
Which Chinchaga bullets did you order? I have contacted him a couple times to try and get him to make me some of the 190 grain he still has on his list but still never has happened so I gave up on him. As far as Matrix I see what you have. The original owner was a great guy. I dont know why he had to sell. He sent me some 180 grain 270 bullets to test for him but he sold a week later so that was the end of that.

Hello Ed,

That's correct, we have had several ownership changes and we were not able to continue with the rifle bullets.

Thanks for reaching out.

Have a great day,

Will

You're welcome!
We plan to be going back into rifle bullets in the next year or so if you're still interested!

Regards,

Will

Finally success first group is the 165 ablr at 3191 FPS seated 0.020 off.

Second and third group are the 150 accubond at 3300 FPS.

Heading back to house to reload and see if they repeat.
These groups are 200 yards

I had a .270wby mag made by Cooper. Good rifle, shot great. After several years some old gray beard at the range pointed out to me that my 270wby mag only gave me about 5% improved performance while using a whole lot more powder, with a whole lot more recoil, very expensive and hard to find belted magnum brass, and shortened brass life. I eventually sent the rifle back to Cooper and had it turned into .270win. GRRRREAT shooting rifle. They can give me a faster twist now to use the mono bullets, but I'm kinda happy with my .270 just the way it is. I've killed deer out to 600yds with no problems, Bang flop.
