I've had some fantastic rifles built by Dakota with beautiful wood but your going to pay for it
Shameless plug, but I have three wood-stocked rifles (a pair of older Sakos and an FN Mauser Supreme) up on classifieds; of the three, the Forester and the Mauser have what I would consider to be drop-dead gorgeous stocks. Both are so pristine that I wonder if even 10 rounds have gone through them.I'm looking for a rifle that has a fancy stock, new or old. Besides Weatherby's, does anyone else make anything like that?

That looks like a Kleinguenther with a Reinhart Fajen stock. They were and upgrade option.Klinegunther. 270 every once in awhile you can find one
I had a 300 Weatherby wood stock. Sure was pretty. After 30 years it was showing quite a bit of use. I did enjoy thoughI'm looking for a rifle that has a fancy stock, new or old. Besides Weatherby's, does anyone else make anything like that?
That thing is stunning! I had 2 of them that were beautiful, one in .243 and one in .22-250, but that one is basically exhibition grade. It is from around 1976, correct?I just bought a Browning 78 in 6mm Rem that was pretty good looking wood from a neighbor.View attachment 199552View attachment 199553
