I use RL16 in my 270 wsm, 58.2 with 130 gr Bergers, Accubonds, and Ballistic Tips. Just did this this week, 58.7 gr with 129 LRX at 3178 fps. Not great but good enough for this season. RL16 would probably work even better with a 122 gr.

RL-16 is what I'm planning on using to start load development. Here is the ladder I'm going to use to find signs of pressure:

For around the house in the swamp, I will use a 16" AR in 350 Legend. For the ranch in south Texas, I will use a 24" 6.5 PRC with 143 grain ELD-X handloads at 2888 fps.

My 7 Saum got a little brother this past year that will get some action….this is my new to me 6.5 Saum. Deviant GA hunter, proof 24", BixNAndy, Eh1. Normally has a TBAC 7 ultra on her. Shooting 124 hammers at 3200. Plan to hammer a couple hogs and a whitetail or two.

At home in Michigan, ill grab whatever I have some ammo rolled for. 6.5 cm, 6.5 prc, 28 nosler, 338, 7 rem mag, 223 rem, 3030.
For my mule deer tag in Utah where distances will likely be a factor, I'm settling on either the 6.5 prc with 143 bond strikes, or the 28 nosler with 150 swift scirocco. Both shooting well.
Both my kids run 6.5 creedmoors in Michigan.

Mostly hunting with my M700 6.5 Sherman using 124 HH's. But will tote my M70 in 308 Win using 150 NBT's some too. I hunt a GA farm so field and powerline shots are 150 to 400 yrds with 50 to 150 yrds likely in the wood lots.

the 300 WSM with 178s and the 6.5 PRC with 143s are headed west for Elk also. let the games begin.
