I do something quite similar but on big volume cases say over 60 grains I go in .3 or .4 grains and in RUM and over you can go half a grain or more as 1 grain can be 1% of the total volume. You can find the nodes and pressure ceiling then come back and refine for final tune.The powder ladder starting .2gr below the charge I already used and going up in .2gr increments till I see some pressure signs.
Find the highest powder node and run that with the seating depth I already found. That seems to get me very solid results fairly quickly.
