What is the one piece of hunting/shooting advice you would give yourself if you could go back in time

As a young man, don't bother with collecting nice rifles and pistols and do not buy a new truck. Do not waste money on building hot rods or any other expensive hobby.
Buy your first house as soon as you can. Quit paying rent.
Buy good hunting land!

It is more rewarding to hunt your own 40 acres most weekends with an old 30-30 than spend so much on custom rifles that you can go hunting only 5 or 6 times a year.

Buy all the hunting property I could have afforded back then. It's disappearing faster than an honest politician around here. Horse people are buying it up and raising prices out of reach.

That's what you get when you don't draw a tag. Then it becomes a contest to see who can live the longest and collect the most points , so you can draw a tag.
Bro I thought it was how many tips on the buck hahaha jk oh so when you whiff for the tag you get the points and then get like a better pick because of all the points, eventually or something?

Hunt more when younger. Hunting after some debilitating life changes is harder and less effective.
Get more out of your rifle as opposed to buying more rifle capability.
