What is the MOST FUSSY cartridge...and LEAST?

Totally Agree ^^^^^^^^
I believe that it is the Gun that makes a cartridge FUSSY.
I had a Ruger M77 in 7 RM. That drove me crazy. Shot Factory and Reloads, anything from 120gr BT to 175 Berger's.
Most likely it was the barrel, Never found out, Sold it after a few years of Aggravation.
EASY PEASY IS A 308 WIN. 👍🎅
Hey! I think I got that rifle! :)
Old school tang safety model 77 in 7RM, shoots 130gr Core-Lokt Remington factory ammo into 1" holes....can't get it to shoot anything else! It sits in the safe......

22 Hornet was a booger, crushed cases, etc. Finally settled on a 50gr V-Max that shoots "so-so" with 'Lil Gun

308, 6mm ARC and 6.5 Grendel have all been easy.

I've had 22s that were extremely picky on ammo, but my semi custom model 70 300wsm has shot everything that I've put in

I had a Savage 300 wsm that gave me a fit. I tried a bunch of different ammo and could not get it to group worth a ****. I'm pretty sure it was the rifle but I never even considered buying another one after that experience.

Try the 40gr Speer in your Hornet 🐝 it's made for magazine boxes . Mine is a Ruger 77 MII
Lil gun only in this rifle, it made a HUGE Difference

lol yes this is an older thread, ditto the 22 Hornet Until ! I I tried lil' gun ! Shimming the bolt ( Ruger 77 mark II ) helped but the powder made it a keeper, otherwise it was going down the road
I agree. The most difficult carried to get consistent accuracy is the .22 hornet. Another one is the .375 Winchester. At least I found one primer, one powder and one bullet that was consistent: Fed 210/37.0-Re-7/Hornady 220 gr flat nose. That would shoot consistent 1" groups at 100 meters from both my M94 & my Marlin 375.
