What is the the most flat shooting cartridge yall can think of?

I've fired 3.5" shotguns that were worse.
It's more of a shove than a punch, as it is now.
If it was maxed out with 400gr bullets I suspect it would be all the above.
Big boar hogs are fun with A-Frames, never used solids on them though.

I had a buddy that had a .240 Rhyne. I recall it being a 7mmMag case necked to 24 caliber. It went somewhere in the neighborhood of 3500 - 4000 fps.?
Only thing 100 rounds later that barrel was toast.

This was pretty interesting, it might be fun to slam a 1-8" twist 27" inch barrel on and play around with both, the .25-06 and the .257 Wby Mag using those 130gr plus bullets, of course, I see the .257 Wby Mag giving the best showing overall due to case. But, if this guys facts and findings are good, well, why not?
