That's interesting too. When and where was that at? I'd shoot wild dogs if they can charging into a coyote call. Those things can pack up and cause a bunch of damage.
It was last fall and I think it was in Idaho.
It looked like a young wolf to me also but I have never seen one.
Animal rights groups made a stink about it but she probably did it a favor if there's wolves in the area.

The fines aren't much. Trust me. I had a friend shoot a golden back in the day that was prosecuted and it was minimal. No loss of hunting privileges. Our systems are messed up.
That's wild. See, I think goldens are way more bad a** than bald eagles. Ever see them standing next to each other? Holy sh** goldens are huge. I do like bald eagles. They're awesome. I even have some photos of some sitting on the ice. That might also be a reason some of us are less upset, since they're way more abundant where we live.

BTW we have a few around house. Had mature adult eating on road kill deer carcass couple days ago. Crows looked like sparrows next to it.
