As much as I like 280ai, 284win, it's ballistic twin in something like a Forbes has always seemed ideal in a light 7mm.I've never hunted sheep in my life but to me a super light weight 280AI seems like it would be about perfect
Nice Ram! What outfit did you hunt with?3/9/23 Sonora, 6.5 PRC 143 gr ELDX, 675 yards...he was done within about 5 seconds with a high shoulder shot.
There are some great rams and cool stories in this thread...always interesting to see what people shoot rams with!! I've got 6 rams and used a different rifle on every one: 7mm Rem Mag, 7 Rum, 6.5 PRC, 300 Wby, 340 Wby, 270 Wby - all one shot kills except the 7 Rum.
Timber King Outfitting on the Seri mainland...Nice Ram! What outfit did you hunt with?
