I just bought my 5th 270 lol a browning A Bolt stainless stalker with Boss
I currently have 5. A brace of Remington 760s, a BSA, a Parker-Hale and a sporterized '03. What got me started was a 1948 Model 70. Unfortunately, for me, I gave it back to the gent I had bought it from, as it was his father's. Always wanted a Mannlicher in .270. I have two carbines in 30-06, but never got one on .270.
375HH. Had it since 1973 or so.

I'm a lefty, I have 2 left hand stocked 760's in 270, 3 in 06', one has a brake. A browning BAR safari II 270, an OLD savage 110 lefty 270, thats like new & the A bolt
My favorite cartrige is the 30-378 WM since the first time I pulled the trigger, I started out shooting 150 and 165 gainers and have slowly moved up to even slower powders and heavier 210 - 215 grain pills. It'll make you giggle everytime you pull the trigger and hear the smack ! on what ever it hits.
Also have and old 06 (my first hunting rifle) thats been a lot of fun over the years, my ruger 10/22 for plinking/varmints is always good entertainment, and the 223rem and 243win has been a mainstay for fun shooting and hunting.
Beautiful choices! I've had a 10/22 since I was 12, 55now. That 30-78 Weatherby gotta scream with 150-165's.

I have two. A 6.5 x 284 and a 28 Nosler.
They are my current favorites because they are really packable hunting rifles and they absolutely stack bullets in the same hole.

What are actual velocities with 140's?

For fun and just shooting targets and vermin my 17 HMR but I really like my 264 win mag. Years ago I put two 87 grain .264 Speer bullets in the same hole at 100 yards but the third one peppered the target like a shotgun. It seems they just couldn't take the rpm they were spinning but it was fun while it lasted.
