I grew up in the shadows of shooters like; Elmer Keith, Jack O'Connor, and Roy Wearthby, Roy's rifles were the gold standard when I was a young man and hunter, Roy's cartridge in those days was power in a small package, the beautiful wood, and wet-blue bluing was something to behold. So in the last 60 years, many have come my way and many have gone, but... I've always managed to have a few in the safe when I picked a rifle for a special hunt.
When I look at Wearthby rifles it's nosologic for me, the same way as when I look at a Win 1894 or a nice Savage model 99... rifles and handguns are about memories and I have many with Weatherby. Just my 0.2 Cheer!
