I bought one long distance gun on Armslist, hard to find item. It all worked out, I did all the vetting I could ahead of time, still don't recommend it.
I sold a gun I had listed on Armslist to a guy in NY, then another to OK. I told the NY guy to not be so trusting, both worked out.
Yes, I'd rather pay a little more & go with an establishment net seller, Gunbroker, net dealer, or a pawn shop with feedback. Even then there can be issues used.
