I'm always looking for something interesting when traveling and stop in pawn shops when I have time. Found this one today. I didn't buy it yet. Just trying to figure out what the parts are worth to possibly make an offer. I really don't know much about it other than what you see. Defiance Tenacity stainless action, 6.5CM according to the shop but not stamped. Barrel is LARGE and long I guess 1.25 straight. Looks like a Manners stock but the barrel channel is obviously huge. I couldn't figure out whose trigger that is. Make an offer or forget it? Thoughts? Would probably sell off the barrel. Would like to build a 25CM or 7CM with a sendero contour steel barrel.

I love my Deviant. Super Smooth and I've never jammed it up. I know a lot of people have given up on them since they got sold and the prices went up.

You'd have to know specs on the barrel and number of rounds on it to be able to sell it for even decent money. Especially when shipping a barrel with insurance is expensive due to the length.

Based on the tag price, you'd need to get quite a bit off, I think to make it worth while for a build. If you plan to keep it and shoot 6.5CM then it would be worth haggling a bit.

Custom actions don't lose much value, so figure $900-1000 for that.

The stock does look like a Manners, but I would say it isn't one of the more desirable models, and the very large barrel channel doesn't help. It doesn't really hurt anything, but a lot of folks put aesthetics over everything. Also, not sure why there is a screw in its side below the bolt? Figure $400-500 for that
Bottom metal seems to be some sort of M5 set up for AICS mags. Figure $200 for that, with the mag.
Trigger is most likely a Trigger Tech. Probably a Special due to the curved blade. $100
Barrel is essentially worthless, IMHO. Unknown round count, 6.5 Creed barrels are a dime a dozen, and it is a truck axle, so shipping will be expensive. Might be a candidate for a recountour and rechamber, but that is just spending money.

I would buy it if I could get it for less than $1500 out the door.

The screw goes to the mini chassis manners has available and according to them replaces the need for bedding.

Op the stock and action alone are worth over 2k. If you have the money and are looking for a project I say it would be worth it. Hell you could sale the barrel and stock if you didn't like it and make a decent chunk of your money back. 1500 for that set up would be a steal.

Ahhh.

Haven't held, or used, the mini chassis setup before.

So, yep, based on that, it puts it in the $800-900+ range on the used market.
